URINARY INCONTINENCE REPAIR

The correction of stress urinary incontinence is usually performed vaginally with a special mesh. The results of this method (TVT, TOT, TVT-O) are comparable to the classical open abdominal procedure that lifts the base of the bladder in order to stop urine leakage.

Today, laparoscopy has advanced this procedure, making it easier and equally effective as the classical technique. The bladder is elevated with special laparoscopic sutures, reducing or eliminating the possibility of urine leakage during coughing, straining, laughing, walking, and any condition that increases intra-abdominal pressure.
