Gynecological cancers in many cases require complete removal of the gynecological organs together with the removal of lymph nodes. These procedures are performed by specialized laparoscopic gynecologic surgeons in coordination with and under the guidance of the hospital’s oncology team.

- Due to all the above, a faster initiation of chemotherapy compared to classic open surgery (laparotomy), leading to better survival outcomes.
